@William Gazecki: This is quite an honour! Thank you for taking the time to comment here.

I have removed the ending comment although I do feel that there is some discrepancy regarding this. The film is available on certain websites. I was thus of the understanding that it was more about the message and therefore freely available. But thank you for the clarity – I have bought my own copy :)

On that note I have written six articles to date based on your film. I’m a huge supporter of your work. It has certainly enlightened me and I am using my own powers to get the message out. Have you perhaps given any of the others a read? I’d love to know what you think. These have also all being published in respected South African newspaper. The different parts are now listed above.

And the question that I’m sure is on every advocate’s mind: will you be making a second Future by Design film any time soon?

Kind regards,
Galen Schultz

I appreciate this post about my movie, Future by Design.

I would like to make a personal plea, however, directed at the ending comment, "The film is freely available online".

It always amazes me that people don't get the connection between their paying for a film they enjoy, and ensuring that films keep getting made that they can enjoy. If you put out nothing, you will eventually get nothing back. Filmmakers can't continue to make movies if people refuse to compensate them for having entertained and/or enlightened them for 1 1/2 hours. If someone wants to convince me how this is fair, I'm listening.

I get asked all the time why Future by Design costs money when what Jacque Fresco talks about is a resource based society. My simple answer: the movie was created within the society we currently live in.

So, please consider purchasing the DVD -- or, at least renting it from Netflix.

Thanks,
William Gazecki
