		<description><![CDATA[Don&#039;t forget composting toilets, to completely remove the water dependence of toilets. They have been making headway lately, and are definitely not what we used to think of. Also grey water (e.g. from the sink or shower) can be used to water your garden. Another major contribution can be from rainwater harvesting - hook up your roof gutter to a big old bucked (or those jo-jo water tanks), to collect and store rainwater falling on your roof. You would be amazed at the volume a couple of square meters can collect. These three measures can be combined to drastically reduce water consumption without much down payment.

		<description><![CDATA[Less than 3% of Earths water is fresh. Most of that is frozen, underground etc. leaving less than 1% available fresh water! Then you can subtract all the polluted water from that. Its a wonder anyone can have a bath or flush a toilet and still sleep at night.]]></description>
