JUNK ART: Rubber sculptors made from old tyres!

WHEN you see on old tyre (or a piece thereof) laying on the road, I'll bet the first thing that comes to mind is "look at that dirty piece of junk laying on the road! It can't possibly serve any purpose to society now that it's no longer attached to the wheel of a car." Right? Well some artists think otherwise. Here's what they make from scraps of discarded black rubber.

PENCIL ART: That's right - pencil artwork made from pencils

THESE are really quite amazing. Remember pencils? Those strange, forgotten instruments of education that we used to use to make weapons with at school, or perhaps sharpen into a deadly point and use to prick the behinds of our friends with? Well someone finally found a modern-day use for them by putting a whole lot together and calling it “art.” But these really are great pieces of artwork.
